Anyone who commits the following offense shall be punished as follows:-

(a) If he allows others to use his passport or if he uses someone else's passport, he will be imprisoned for up to five years and fined up to fifty thousand rupees.

(b) If he knowingly obtains or undertakes to obtain a passport by giving false information, or if he visits a foreign country or undertakes an undertaking contrary to section 3, or if he does not comply with the orders or instructions given by the Government of Nepal or other than the purpose for which the passport was issued. Imprisonment up to three years and fine up to three thousand rupees if the passport is used for the purpose.

(c) Apart from what is written in clauses (a) and (b), if any action is taken contrary to this Act or the rules made under this Act, he shall be punished with a Imprisonment up to one year and fine up to ten thousand rupees.
