Rule 110
Punishment
: If there is a proper and sufficient reason, the following departmental punishment can be imposed on the armed police personnel:-
(a) General Punishment :–
(1) Punishment with physical fatigue (fatik) or detention under police custody,
(2) Giving advice,
(3)   To write an adverse opinion on the conduct report,
(4)   To withhold not more than five pay increments,
(5) Withholding promotion for a maximum period of five years,
(6) Deduction of up to five salary increments received (7) Reduction to the original scale in which the seniority of the present post has been reduced,
(8)   Demotion to a lower post. However, the armed police personnel selected through open competition will not be reduced to a lower position than the position in which they were originally appointed.
(b)   Special Punishment :–
(1)   Removal from service so as not to disqualify him for future government service,
(2) Dismissal from service in such a way as to disqualify him for future government service.
