Rule 55
instead leave
(1) Employees working in offices that have to work on public holidays such as health institutions, hospitals, and health posts can get a leave in lieu of working on a public holiday and such leave must be taken within the next three months.
(2) In accordance with sub-rule (1), a payment equal to the salary of the period for which the leave could not be taken will be paid instead of the shift.
(3) The head of the concerned office shall update the record of leave in lieu.
