(1) There will be an assembly as the highest body in the university.
(2) The composition of the Assembly shall be as follows:-
(a) Chancellor – Chairman
(B) Vice-Chancellor – Vice-Chancellor
(c) Vice-Chancellor – Member (d) Member, National Planning Commission (Looking after Education) – Member
(e) Chairman, University Grants Commission – Member
(f) Two members from among the Vice-Chancellors of other Universities (g) Secretary, Ministry of Education – Member
(h) Secretary, Ministry of Finance – Member
(i) Regional Administrator of concerned development area – Member
(j) Dean – Member
(k) Director – Member (l) Two members from among the Campus Heads (d) Two from amongst the teachers – members
(d) ……………..
(n) Two members from among the heads of municipalities under the development area where the university is situated (p) Central President of Nepal Professors Association - Member
(th) President, University Professors Association – Member
(d) University Independent Students Union President – ​​Member – Member
(d) one member from among the contributors (N) One member from among education lovers and social workers (p) One member from among the employee representatives (f) Registrar – Member – Secretary
(3) Apart from the ex-officio members mentioned in sub-section (2), the nomination of other members shall be done by the Chancellor on the recommendation of the Executive Council.
(4) The term of office of nominated members shall be three years (5) If the position of the nominated members becomes vacant for any reason, another person will be nominated for the remaining period after completing the procedure as per sub-section (3).
