4. Work, Duties and Powers of the Committee

The work, duties and powers of the Committee shall be as follows:-

(a) To approve and implement plans and programs related to the development of Bhanu birth place,
(b) Receiving cash or kind or any other kind of support from foreign government, national or international association, organization, body or person for the implementation of plans and programs related to the development of Bhanu birth place,
(c) Protecting, maintaining and renovating sites of ancient cultural, historical and archaeological importance that are directly or indirectly related to Adikavi Bhanubhakta,
(d) Strengthening the Bhanu Library at the birthplace of Bhanu as a center of Nepali language and literature (e) To collect and preserve the manuscripts and printed materials of Adi Kavi Bhanu Bhakta's contemporaries and ancient materials related to Bhanu Bhakta,
(f) Protecting and promoting the natural heritage and environment of Bhanu birthplace (g) Organizing basic things like educational institutions, health centers, bridges, sewers, canals, water, electricity, telephones, roads in the birthplace of Bhanu. (h) Organizing meetings, conferences, seminars or demonstrations of linguistic, literary, educational and cultural importance from time to time at Bhanu's birthplace,
(i) To make necessary coordination between government and non-government organizations related to Bhanu birth place,
(j) Controlling and prohibiting activities that harm the dignity of Bhanu birth place and
(k) According to this order, to carry out other work to fulfill the purpose of the committee.
