4. Work, Duties and Powers of the Committee

The work, duties and powers of the Committee shall be as follows:-

(a) Providing consultation to the Government of Nepal to formulate short-term and long-term policies regarding foreign affairs,
(b) Studying and researching various aspects of international relations and preparing a concept paper based on the study and research about the strategy to be adopted by Nepal in relation to foreign affairs, and submitting it to the Government of Nepal,
(c) To organize conferences, discourses, seminars and deliberations etc. in relation to foreign affairs,
(d) Suggesting the government of Nepal to make timely improvements and modifications in the practice of diplomatic relations authorized by Nepal,
(e) Conducting study and research on problematic matters arising in relation to foreign affairs (f) To suggest to the Government of Nepal to improve and revise the consular practice from time to time,
(G) Providing training to the employees of various agencies of the Government of Nepal in relation to foreign affairs and diplomatic practice (h) To publish and sell and distribute dissertations, researches, works or other similar articles, compositions in the field of Nepal's foreign relations, diplomatic practice, foreign policy, international relations,

(i) Suggesting to the Government of Nepal regarding the standards to be adopted when Nepal opens its embassy, ​​consulate-general or consulate or other missions in foreign countries,< br> (j) To approve and implement the annual policy, plan and program of the committee (k) To update records and information related to Nepal's foreign affairs and diplomatic relations and to develop the committee as a resource center for such matters,
