Section 4
Work, Duties and Rights of the Committee
: The work, duties and rights of the Committee shall be as follows:-
(A) To approve and implement plans and programs related to the development of Devghat area.
(b) Providing cash, kind or any other kind of support from foreign government, national or international association, organization, body or person for the implementation of plans and programs related to the development of Devghat area.
(c) For the purpose of social, economic, religious and cultural development of the Devghat area, research and investigation of the ancient, historical, religious, cultural and archaeological significance of monasteries, temples, shrines, shrines, viharas, sarobars or similar ancient places and objects of historical importance within that area. (d) To approve necessary programs for the development of tourism in places suitable for tourism within the Devghat region.
(e) Taking into account the importance, dignity, recognition and sensitivity of a particular place within the Devghat area, prohibiting and controlling activities that should not be done in such places.
(f) Collecting donations from organizations or individuals outside Nepal.
(G) Protecting natural resources within Devghat area and maintaining environmental balance.
(h) Arranging arrangements for the proper arrangement of public utilities such as educational institutions, hospitals, bridges, sewers, electricity, telephones, roads within the Devghat area, maintaining cleanliness so as not to allow littering and related offices of the Government of Nepal, local bodies and non-governmental organizations within that area. Conducting programs in coordination with organizations.
(i) Establishing the necessary standards for the construction to be carried out within the Devghat area and making arrangements for acquiring real estate and allocating land for various activities in accordance with prevailing laws.
(j) To show the importance of Devghat area, to organize meeting, conference, symposium or exhibition at national and international level.
(k) During the planned development of Devghat area, a well organized RsConstruction and maintenance work.
(l) To maintain coordination between the agencies conducting the development and construction works conducted by the government and non-government private sectors within the Devghat area.
(d) To make arrangements to declare any place of archaeological importance within the Devghat area as a protected place.
(d) According to this order, if any construction work needs to be removed, demolished, changed or controlled in order to fulfill the purpose of the committee, make arrangements to do so.
(n) According to this order, to carry out other tasks to fulfill the objectives of the committee.
