In this order, unless the subject or context indicates otherwise, –
(a) "Committee" means the Devghat Area Development Committee constituted as per Section 3.
(b) "Deoghat area" means the following areas:- Ward No. of Devghat Village Development Committee of Tanahun District. 2 and ward no. All areas of 4. Ward no. of Bharatpur municipality of Chitwan district. East Kavilas Village Development Committee of 1, West Nawalparasi District Gaindakot Village Development Committee, North Tanahun District Devghat Village Development Committee and South Bharatpur Municipality Ward no. 2, 3 and 11 areas within these four forts. 9:00 Ward No. of Gaindakot Village Development Committee of Nawalparasi District. 1 East Narayani River, West Jhavardi Village Development Committee Ward No. 4, North Jungle and South Narayani River areas within these four forts. 9th Ward of Gaindakot Village Development Committee of Nawalparasi District No. 3 East Kali-Gandaki, West Jungle, North Kali-Gandaki and South Jungle areas within the four forts.
(c) "Chairman" means the Chairman of the Committee.
(d) "Member" shall mean a member of the committee and the term also refers to the chairman and member-secretary of the committee.
(e) "Executive Director" shall mean the Executive Director appointed as per Section 6.
(f) "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" means prescribed or prescribed in the rules made under this order.
