: (1) The work, duties and rights of the Committee shall be as follows:-
(a) Guiding, monitoring, creating policies in accordance with the concept of multi-sectoral dimensions in health related to the protection, promotion and improvement of citizens' health,
(b) to integrate health policy into all other policies of the Government of Nepal to address the broader social determinants of health,
(c) Determining multi-sectoral goals and priorities based on proportional distribution in the field of health services (d)   To provide for effective coordination in health service delivery,
(e) Cooperation, coordination and monitoring to implement international policies, strategies and commitments related to public health in the national interest of Nepal,
(f) To make suggestions to the Government of Nepal to formulate necessary policies to control pesticides used for various purposes and to reduce road and traffic related accidents and to prepare standards related to occupational health,
(g) To make necessary suggestions to arrange public health workers to promote first aid and health education in local level schools,
(h) To perform other tasks prescribed by the Government of Nepal.
(2) The committee may form sub-committees as required.
