(1) A Board of Directors shall be formed to carry out all the work to be done in accordance with this Act and the rules made under this Act on behalf of the Authority.
(2) The committee under sub-section (1) will consist of the following members:-
(a) Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply - Chairman (b) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Industries, Commerce and Supplies -Member (c) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs - Member (d) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Finance - Member (e) Joint Secretary, Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security - Member (f) Chairman or member of Federation of Nepal Industry and Commerce - Member
(g) Chairman or member of Nepal Industry Confederation - Member (h) Chairperson or member of Federation of Women Entrepreneurs-Member
(i) President or member of the Federation of Nepal National Industry Professionals - Member
(j) One representative-member recommended by the United Trade Union Coordinating Center (k) Executive Director, Authority - Member-Secretary (3) The Government of Nepal may make necessary additions or changes in the members of the committee by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette.
(4) The term of office of the member appointed by the Government of Nepal in accordance with clause (t) of sub-section (2) shall be four years.
(5) Notwithstanding anything written in subsection (4), if the work of a member appointed by the Government of Nepal is not satisfactory, the Government of Nepal may remove him at any time. But before such removal, he should be given a reasonable opportunity to submit an explanation.
