Rule 22D
Duties, duties and rights of the local body in charge of community-run schools
The work, duties and rights of the local body in charge of the management of community-run schools shall be as follows:-
(a) To provide financial assistance to the management committee to develop and operate the physical infrastructure of the school (b) To inspect and monitor the school from time to time and if any deficiencies are found during such inspection and monitoring, to give necessary instructions or suggestions to the management committee for their resolution,
(c) To approve the appointment of teachers and staff other than community teachers according to the recommendation of the management committee,
(d) Matching the posts of teachers based on the number of students at the primary level and on the basis of the number of students and subjects at other levels in the schools under his charge,
(e) Prepare and implement periodical educational programs,
(f) To appoint experts as needed to improve the school.
(g) To follow the instructions or suggestions given by the ministry, department, directorate or district education office regarding school operation,
