Rule 84
Change of groups and subgroups
(1) If required by the Government of Nepal, an employee who has fulfilled the following qualifications may be transferred from one group or subgroup of the service in which he is in service to another group or subgroup of the same level based on the recommendation of the Public Service Commission:-
(a) having acquired the minimum qualification prescribed for the post in the group or sub-group to be changed,
(b) In case of change from one group or sub-group to another group or sub-group at the seventh level or above post, having obtained post-graduate degree in the subject related to that group and sub-group,
(c) Completion of at least three years of service in the post of group or sub-group currently held.
(2) If it is desired to change the group or sub-group, the group or sub-group of persons recommended by the Public Service Commission on the basis of written examination and interview shall be changed.
