(1) At the time of commencement of these rules, the employees who are grouped in accounting group, revenue group and postal group will be considered to be grouped in the respective group.
(2) At the time of commencement of these rules, among the employees working in the Nepal Administration Service, the employees of other categories except the special categories and the employees as per sub-rule (1) shall be automatically considered to be grouped in the general administration group. However, the gazetted employees and non-gazetted employees of the Nepal Administration Service (Foreign) will be considered to be grouped in the diplomatic group.
(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rules (1) and (2), the employees working in the Nepal Administrative Service Postal Group shall, after the commencement of this sub-rule, be grouped in the Nepal Administrative Service, General Administration Group.
