(1) If the offender is not arrested within six months from the date of the arrest order as per sub-section (4) of section 151, the amount of fine or compensation to be paid according to the judgment shall be received from the relevant agency or institution if the property withheld as per section 156 is cash and other movable or immovable. If it is auctioned, the amount of fine or government failure should be deposited in the accumulated fund, and if the remaining amount is to be paid, compensation should be paid and the remaining amount should be returned to the owner. (2) If the offender is arrested before the collection of the fine in accordance with this Code, and if he wants to pay the amount of fine or compensation in cash, the property withheld according to section 156 has not been sold by auction, if the expenses incurred while keeping such property withheld have been canceled and if the property has been auctioned. After deducting the expenses incurred during withholding and auction sale, the money received from the auction sale should be returned to him and the imprisonment sentence should be executed.
