Section 7
Inform the concerned police office
(1) In relation to an offense mentioned in Schedule-1, if the police office itself learns that such offense has occurred or is occurring or is about to occur in the area of another police office, such police office shall send such information to the concerned police office as soon as possible and as necessary The informant should also be informed to attend the concerned police office.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), due to geographic difficulty or any other reason, the investigation officer cannot be immediately available, the person who commits the offense escapes and the evidence related to the offense may be lost, the concerned party shall also receive such information in the case of incidents within such area. The authorized investigation officer of the police office will have to conduct a preliminary investigation and send it to the concerned police office.
(3) Before conducting the preliminary investigation according to sub-section (2), such officer shall inform the concerned police office and the police office one level above.
