Section 21
Aadhaar to be taken on transfer or posting

(1) Employees will be transferred to very remote, remote and accessible areas to give them experience in different geographical areas of the country.
(2) The division and sub-division of extremely remote, remote and accessible areas from a geographical point of view will be as prescribed.
(3) An employee shall not normally be transferred without completing at least one year in the most remote areas or at least two years in the remote areas. Explanation: For the purpose of this sub-section, "one year" shall mean a period of at least 233 days of regular attendance.
(4) No employee shall be employed in any office for more than thirty days in a year. If an employee is assigned to work for a period exceeding that period, the amount of salary and allowance received by such employee during the period of such assignment shall be deducted from the salary and allowance of the official assigning such work.
(5) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (4), an employee may be employed for a period exceeding thirty days in the following cases:-
(a) for the treatment of natural calamities or infectious diseases or to participate in any training, seminar, symposium or national program nominated by the Government of Nepal,
(b) to maintain a position,
(c) To do the job in the event that the vacant position of head of office or head of unit office cannot be filled immediately.
(6) If an employee transferred to a very remote or remote area as per sub-section (3) works in a training, seminar, seminar or national program as per sub-section (5), such employee shall not be considered to have worked in a very remote or remote area during the period of such assignment.
