Rule 35
Power to transfer
: (1) The power to transfer armed police personnel shall be vested in the following officers:-
(a) Government of Nepal to Additional Inspector General of Armed Police,
(b) The Home Minister to the Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police and the Senior Superintendent of Armed Police,
(c) from Inspector General of Armed Police to Superintendent of Armed Police, Inspector General of Armed Police,
(d) From the Armed Police Attendant to the Senior Deputy Inspector of Armed Police, the Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police of the Police Headquarters or an officer of higher rank,
(e) Notwithstanding anything written in Clause (d), the Deputy Inspector General of the Armed Police of the respective area to the Armed Police personnel from Armed Police Attendants to Armed Police Assistant Inspectors within their area. (2) In accordance with clause (e) of sub-rule (1), the transfer shall be done only with the approval of the head office.
