The authorized officer shall record the owner's name, address, date of vehicle registration, registration number, vehicle manufacturer's name, model, year, engine number, chassis number, vehicle type and weight etc. of each vehicle registered under this Act. The cost of the vehicle should be kept up-to-date by writing it in the registration book so that it is clearly visible. The photograph of the owner of the vehicle should also be pasted on the relevant page of such registration book.
