(1) The conciliator shall assist the parties in an independent and impartial manner in resolving the dispute in a friendly manner.
(2) When assisting in accordance with sub-section (1), the conciliator always takes into account the rights and obligations of the parties, the practice and customs of the matter if the dispute is of a commercial nature, if the dispute is resolved through a community-based mechanism, impartiality, taking into account the traditions, practices and accepted norms related to dispute resolution available in the relevant community, It should always be guided by the principles of objectivity, cleanliness and justice.
(3) According to this Act, when a conciliator helps to resolve a dispute, he shall not play the role of a judge, arbitrator or legal advisor, but only play the role of a facilitator.
