(1) In the event that the plaintiff or the defendant mentions a witness in the indictment or reply or statement, after the defendant has given the statement or written reply or after the deadline has passed, if such witness can be taken as evidence by the prevailing law, the tribunal may order the witness to appear for a specified period.
(2) If the tribunal orders the presence of witnesses in accordance with sub-rule (1), it shall be the responsibility of the respective parties to present their witnesses before the tribunal.
