- (1) In any year, if the main crop is damaged in an area due to drought or hailstorm or locusts or flood or any other natural calamity, partial or complete reduction of the crop should be done after necessary investigation. If necessary, the customs office will inform the government of Nepal with its opinion.
(2) If it is disclosed in accordance with sub-section (1) or if the Nepal government is informed of such a situation in any way, the Nepal government will seize the goods as much as it deems necessary.
