(1) The travel business shall provide protective materials such as life jackets and helmets to the tourists and Nepali workers who go on the trip.
(2) In case of any kind of injury or death to a person going on a water trip due to non-arrangement of protective equipment as per sub-rule (1), the related water travel business shall pay the following compensation to such person -
(a) In case of injury up to two lakh rupees depending on the nature of such injury (b) In case of death, up to five lakh rupees.
(3) In the event of an accident during the course of the voyage, the primary search and rescue operations of such accident and the death of the voyager shall be carried out by the relevant voyager.
