(1) If a person feels that information about a matter in a public body is wrong, such a person can submit an application to the relevant chief along with necessary evidence to correct the information.
(2) If an application is received in accordance with sub-section (1), the head shall carry out the necessary investigation in that regard and if it is found that the information in his agency is wrong during such investigation, he shall correct such information and give the information to the applicant within seven days of receiving the application.
