Rule 32
Who can be appointed on service contract
: (1) If the required number of candidates cannot be recommended according to the advertisement for any post for technical service and if it is felt that the expertise of a person is essential to fill such a post, the Ministry shall, with the consent of the Ministry of Finance, appoint a maximum of two Can give approval for appointment as an expert on service contract for up to one year.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), the service, conditions and facilities of the person appointed in the service contract shall be as mentioned in the contract.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (2), the following responsibilities and facilities shall not be given to the person appointed under the service contract as per sub-rule (1):-
(a)   Responsibilities of Heads of Directorates, Departments, Divisions and Branches of the Armed Police Force,
(b) the facility of using the insignia and uniform of the armed police, and
(c) Clothing and ration facilities for armed police personnel.
