Rule 122
Termination of Service
: (1) If an armed police officer has to terminate his service in the following circumstances, the officer entitled to order the punishment of dismissal or removal from employment in accordance with Rule 115 may issue a notice and terminate his service. In this way, the procedure as per Rule 118 should not be followed while terminating the service:-
(a) If the appointment is on probation, the appointment will not be valid (b) Non-payment of contract period for appointment on contract,
(c) Being appointed to a fixed-term post and not completing that term,
(d) If the Board of Approved Physicians constituted by the Government of Nepal finds him physically unfit to continue in the service. (2) Such armed police personnel may appeal against the decision of termination of service as per sub-rule (1) as mentioned in rule 115.
