(1) The following facilities will be provided under the health insurance program (a) Promotional services such as yoga, nutrition education, behavioral improvement, psycho-social counselling,
(b) Preventive services like vaccination, family planning, safe motherhood,
(c) therapeutic services such as outpatient, inpatient treatment, emergency, surgery, drugs, health assistive devices,
(d) diagnostic or rehabilitative services,
(e) Ambulance Service,
(f) Other services as specified.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (1), no person shall be deemed to be hindered from receiving basic health services free of charge and any health services received in accordance with prevailing laws. Explanation: For the purpose of this sub-section, "basic health care" means health care as prescribed by the Government of Nepal.
