(1) The Government of Nepal shall constitute a Breastfeeding Protection and Promotion Committee for the purpose of supervising the compliance of this Act and to control the protection and promotion of breastfeeding and the sale and distribution of products.

< p>(2) The committee will consist of the following members:-

(a) Secretary, Ministry of Health and Population - Chairman

(b) Representative (R.P. First Class), Industry, Ministry of Commerce and Supply – Member

(c) …………………………………………

(d) …………………… ……………………

(e)    Representative (R.P. First Class), Ministry of Education, Science and Technology   - Member

(f)    Representative (R.P. First Class), Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security - Member

(g) Representative, Nepal Pediatrician Association - Member

(j) Representative, Nepal Industry and Commerce Association - Members (́) Two persons nominated by the committee from among the eminent persons working in the field of maternal and child health-members

(j) Distinguished nutritionists nominated by the Government of Nepal-members

(k) Nurturing of children And one member nominated by the Government of Nepal from mothers with nursing experience. /p>

(4) The committee may invite domestic or foreign experts to participate as observers in the meeting.
(5) The Government of Nepal may add or change the members of the committee by publishing a notice in the Nepal Gazette
