(1) The heads of health care agencies and national and local health authorities shall take appropriate measures to promote the principles of this Act and to protect and encourage breastfeeding and provide health workers with appropriate information regarding their responsibilities. And advice should be given. Health workers should be given information about all the things mentioned in section 7.
(2) Health workers should protect, promote and encourage breastfeeding. They should be aware of the provisions of this Act, especially those mentioned in Section 7, and implement those provisions as much as possible.
(3) Health workers should not be allowed to directly or indirectly prevent the initiation and expansion of breastfeeding.
(4) Health workers shall not accept any form of financial or material gift from the manufacturer or distributor.
(5) Health workers shall not give samples of any product to anyone.
(6) Health workers should not promote the product in any way.
(7) If it is known that the producer or distributor is trying to give any gift or other financial facility to the health workers or that someone has violated any other provision of this Act, the report shall be given in writing to the head of their organization and the head shall also inform the committee as soon as possible.< /p>
