(1) The Vice-Chancellor shall be the principal officer working full-time in the University.

(2) Two members of the Assembly under the chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor from the Vice-Chancellor to submit recommendations for appointment to the post of Vice-Chancellor. A committee consisting of six members will be formed and the vice-chancellor will be appointed by the vice-chancellor on the recommendation of that committee.

(3) The term of office of the vice-chancellor will be four years. , facilities and conditions of service will be as specified.
