(1) The office may appoint or designate the necessary number of inspectors to conduct quality inspection of any substance or process.
(2) The duties, duties and powers of inspectors appointed or designated as per sub-section (1) shall be as follows:-
(a) To investigate whether a license has been obtained or not in relation to any substance or process in which the proof-mark is used and whether the work has been carried out in accordance with the conditions of that license or not,
(b) In relation to the substance or process for which the certificate of quality has been used, to investigate whether the conditions of the certificate have been complied with or not,
(c) to inspect the production of the substance or any process related to the substance for which the proof-mark or certificate of quality is used,
(d) Taking samples for inspection or testing of any substance for which proof-mark or certificate of quality has been used and blanks or prepared goods etc. related to that substance.
