Section 2
Definition
In this Act, unless the subject or context otherwise requires,–
(a) "Human body" means the body of a living or dead human being.
(A1) "Brain death" means the death of the brain stem (brain stem) and the term also refers to the state of irreversible damage in the receptive and responsive activities of the brain. Explanation :

(d) "Activities related to organ transplantation" means the activities related to removing organs from the human body for the purpose of systematically treating diseases according to the modern medical system, storing the removed organs in a safe manner using scientific techniques and methods, or transplanting them into the body of another human being.< br> (e) "Health institution" means a health institution that has received a license to carry out activities related to organ transplantation in accordance with this Act.
(f) "Permit" means the permit given under section 5 to carry out activities related to organ transplantation.
(g) "Individual license" means an individual license issued under sub-section (1) of section 8 to carry out activities related to organ transplantation.
(h) "Physician" means a qualified physician as per sub-section (2) of section 8 and by that term, section 12. Treatment according toAlso refers to Sakko's team.
(i) "Committee" means Organ Transplant Co-ordination Committee constituted as per Section 12.
(j) "Donor" means a person who donates an organ and in the case of a deceased, the term also refers to a member of his family who donates the organ of such deceased.
