Rule 2
Definition
In these regulations, unless the subject or the context requires otherwise,-
(a) "authorized person" means to submit the details and documents of the party in accordance with sub-rule (2) of rule 7, for merger or amalgamation of parties in accordance with sub-rule (1) of rule 8, party for election purposes in accordance with sub-rule (2) of rule 16 To register, to participate in the election by taking a single election symbol as per sub-rule (2) of rule 18 and to apply to the commission on behalf of the party to inform the party that details of the party have been changed as per sub-rule (1) of rule 26, to be considered as a person authorized by the chief officer of the party as per Schedule-1 Should.
(b) "Act" means the Political Party Act, 2073.
(c) "Election period" means the period from one hundred and twenty days before the date of election until the final result of the election is announced. But if the election date is announced for a period of less than one hundred and twenty days, the period from the date of such announcement until the final result of the election is announced will be considered as the election period.
