In these Regulations unless the context or the context otherwise requires-
(a) "Act" means the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2059.
(b) "Centre" means the National Vigilance Centre.
(c) "Chief" means the Chief Officer of the Centre.
(d) "Project" shall mean the following work related to the infrastructure structure to be completed on behalf of the government office or public institution:-
(1) Prototype preparation, feasibility study and design,
(2) purchase or receipt of services, goods or construction materials,
(3) construction works,
(4) Post-construction operation, maintenance and reconstruction.
(e) "Technical test" means the technical test of the project to be done according to rule 14.
(f) “Technical Examiner” means sub-rule
of rule 15 for technical examination of the project (3) shall mean the person appointed.
(g) "Government office" means a ministry, department or agency of the Government of Nepal.
