Unless the subject or context requires otherwise, in this regulation,- (a) "Fund" means the peace fund established under rule 3.
(b) "Committee" shall mean the Board of Directors of the Fund constituted as per rule 6.
(c) "Technical Committee" means the Technical Committee constituted as per rule 9.
(d) "Project" means the program prepared by the project implementation body to carry out any work as per rule 4.
(e) "Project implementation body" means a government agency selected by the committee to implement the project, a community-based organization, a non-governmental organization registered under prevailing law or an international organization approved under prevailing law. Explanation: For the purpose of this section, "community-based organization" means an organized organization registered in accordance with the prevailing law for the purpose of working in the field related to the operation of the fund.
(f) “Displaced” means a person or family displaced by conflict.
(g) "Ministry" means the Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction (h) "Secretariat" means the Peace Fund Secretariat established by the Government of Nepal for the operation of the Fund.
(i) "Executive Director" means the Executive Director as per Rule 26.
