Unless the subject or context requires otherwise, in this Act,-

(a) "Judge of the High Court" means the Chief Justice and the Judge of the High Court appointed in accordance with Article 140 of the Constitution of Nepal.< /p>

(b) “District Court Judge” means a District Court Judge appointed in accordance with Article 149 of the Constitution of Nepal.

(c) “Judge” means a High Court and District Court judge. .

(d) "Family" means husband, wife, son, unmarried daughter, adopted son, unmarried adopted daughter or father, mother or step-mother who lives with the judge and has to be supported by himself, and by that word, men and In the case of an unmarried female judge, it refers to her brother-in-law and in the case of a married female judge, it also refers to her mother-in-law.
