In this Act, unless the subject or context requires otherwise,-

(a) “Judge” means a Judge of the Supreme Court.

(b) “Chief Justice ” shall mean the Chief Justice of Nepal and the term also refers to the permanent Chief Justice.

(c) “Supreme Court” shall mean the Supreme Court as per Article 128 of the Constitution. ) "Constitution" means the Constitution of Nepal.
