Unless the subject or context requires otherwise, in this regulation,-

(a) “local level”: means rural municipality or municipality.
(b) "Fund" shall mean the Gender Violence Prevention Fund as per Rule 3.
(c) "Victim" means a person suffering or affected by gender violence.
(C1) "Provincial or local immediate rescue and relief committee" shall mean the provincial or local immediate rescue and relief committee formed at the provincial and local level in accordance with Rule 11.
(d) "Ministry" means the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens (e) "Relief Committee" shall mean the Relief and Financial Assistance Committee as per Rule 11.
(f) "Gender-based violence" means sexual harassment in the workplace, social abuse, and gender-based violence.
(g) "Board of Directors" shall mean the Board of Directors of the fund as per Rule 7.
