Unless the subject or context requires otherwise, in these regulations,-

(a) "Act" means the Legislature-Parliament Secretariat Act, 2064.
(b) "Fund" means Legislature-Parliament Development Fund as per Section 13 of the Act.
(c) "Committee" means the Secretariat Operation and Management Committee constituted under Section 6 of the Act.
(d) "Head of Department" means the Secretary General of the Legislature-Parliament.
(e) "Head of Accounts" means the chief employee who performs accounting-related tasks such as keeping, causing to be kept, preparing and ordering statements of financial transactions of the Secretariat, and making internal and final audits.
(f) "Donor Party" means a foreign government, foreign diplomatic mission or international organization or agency that provides grants or foreign aid to the Secretariat through bilateral or multilateral agreements.
