2.1 In this Act unless the subject or context requires otherwise, - 2.1.1. "Institution" means the Nepal Water Supply Institute established as per Section 3. 2.1.2 "Committee" means the Board of Directors constituted as per Section 8. 2.1.3 "Chairman" means the Chairman of the Institute designated or appointed as per Section 11. 2.1.3a "Organization" means an organized organization established in accordance with prevailing laws. 2.1.3B "Service System" means a reservoir constructed for providing drinking water service, a water treatment or purification plant connected to such reservoir, a pipe connected to supply water or a waste water treatment plant, a sewer constructed for sewage disposal. Means a drainage system, equipment or other structure of a similar nature and the term also refers to a house or land connected to a water supply service or sewerage service. 2.1.3c "Board" means the Board established under the Water Management Board Act, 2063. 2.1.4 "Prescribed" or "as prescribed" shall mean prescribed or prescribed in the rules or regulations made under this Act.
