: Since it is desirable to implement the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, 1973, to which Nepal is a party, to make necessary legal arrangements for the protection of various species of endangered wild fauna and flora and to regulate and control their international trade, the clause of Article 296 of the Constitution of Nepal The Legislature-Parliament as per (1) has made this Act.
