Rule 5
Interrogation
(1) When interrogating a child, the investigating officer shall create a child-friendly environment in which the child can express his/her answers to the questions.
(2) In accordance with sub-rule (1), the inquiry may be conducted in the presence of the child's father, mother, guardian, legal practitioner or his representative if such a child resides in a child welfare home or orphanage.
(3) The investigating officer may inquire about the related offense, family and social background of the child and other necessary matters during the inquiry according to sub-rule (1).
(4) The child shall not be interrogated for more than one hour at a time and at night.
