Section 25
Rights of Child Victims
Child victims shall have the following rights to child-friendly justice at every stage of the investigation, prosecution and judicial process:—
(a) To receive information in a language he understands (b) participate in or engage in,
(c) The right to keep personal identifying information confidential (d) Manasib Mafiq compensation may be obtained from the victim, but this section shall not be deemed to limit the opportunity for the victim to receive compensation from the State.
(e) To get free legal aid and psychosocial counseling services as needed and to hire a separate legal practitioner if desired,
(f) If the victim does not understand the language used by the investigating agency or the juvenile court, he/she shall be provided with the facility of free interpreter, sign language expert or translation. (G) To get copies of documents including decisions and orders made by investigating bodies or juvenile courts free of charge (h)   To get police protection to be safe from the harm that may be caused by the perpetrator or his party,
(j) to have his case heard in closed session,
(j) During the proceedings, the presence of the defendant may be made indirect as necessary.
