Fathers, mothers, custodians, caregivers, teachers, health workers, and others who provide direct services to children should report to the nearest police office immediately if they know that violence or child sexual abuse has occurred, is occurring, or is about to occur.
(2) The relevant police office can immediately give the information as per sub-section (1) to the child welfare officer and get the necessary assistance.
(3) When information is given with the intention of protecting children, no legal action shall be taken solely on the basis of the information being given to the person making the information.
(4) According to sub-section (1), the identity of the person giving the information shall be kept confidential if he wishes.
(2) The relevant police office can immediately give the information as per sub-section (1) to the child welfare officer and get the necessary assistance.
(3) When information is given with the intention of protecting children, no legal action shall be taken solely on the basis of the information being given to the person making the information.
