Article 234
Inter State Council

(1) There will be an inter-provincial council as follows to resolve political disputes between the Union and the provinces and between the provinces:-
(a) Prime Minister – Chairman
(b) Minister of Home Affairs of the Government of Nepal - Member
(c) Minister of Finance of the Government of Nepal - Member
(d) Chief Minister of the concerned state – Member
(2) The meeting of the inter-provincial council will be held as required.
(3) The inter-provincial council can invite the ministers of the government of Nepal and the ministers and experts of the respective provinces to its meeting.
(4) The procedure for the meeting of the inter-provincial council shall be as determined by the council itself.
