Section 130
Accused may appoint legal practitioner for his defense

(1) An accused accused of any offense may refute the charges against him or appoint a legal practitioner of his choice for his defense.
(2) If the accused accused of an offense punishable by imprisonment for life or ten years or more than ten years does not appoint his legal practitioner, the court may order the defense of such accused by a legal practitioner appointed by the court.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this section, if an accused does not want to hire a legal practitioner in accordance with sub-section (1) or refuses to be defended by a legal practitioner appointed by the court in accordance with sub-section (2), it shall not be considered that there is an obstacle to the proceeding of the case.
