(1) The meeting of the commission will be held at the place and time specified by the chairman of the commission as per the need.
(2) The quorum for the meeting of the Commission shall be fifty percent of the total number of members of the Commission (3) The decision of the Commission shall be made by the majority and if the votes are equal, the Chairman of the Commission may give the deciding vote.
(4) The decision or order of the commission shall be verified by the member-secretary of the commission.
(5) Other procedures related to the meeting of the Commission shall be as determined by the Commission itself. 15. Secretariat of the Commission - The Secretariat of the Commission will be arranged by the Department of Land and Watershed Protection. 16. Work, duties and rights of the committee - The work, duties and rights of the committee formed according to section 16 of the Act shall be as follows.
(A) To support the implementation of land and water body conservation activities in the respective districts in accordance with the goals and objectives.
(b) To help solve local level problems while implementing projects related to land and watershed protection.
(c) Establishing coordination between various agencies that operate land and watershed conservation projects.
(D) To provide public participation required for land and watershed protection.
(e) Forming sub-committees as required.
