(1) In case of death of an office bearer or member while the term of office is still in force, the Government of Nepal shall provide financial assistance to his family as per schedule-1.

(2) Any office bearer or member for any reason If he is physically or mentally disabled and is unable to remain a member of the Federal Parliament, such office bearer or member will be provided financial assistance as per Schedule-1 due to disability.
