(1) Officers and members shall receive remuneration and special allowances as mentioned in Schedule-1 from the date of their election or nomination. But the office bearers and members who are in office at the time of commencement of this Act shall receive remuneration as per this section only from the date of commencement of this Act. If the assembly is dissolved and he does not continue in his position, an additional amount equal to one month's salary will be given to such officer or member in addition to the remuneration received until the day the membership of such officer or member continues. Or it will be given to the person he wants. In case of the death of an officer or member, the deceased officer or member does not have a will or if the person who willed is not alive, such amount will be given to his next of kin. Additional amount as per sub-section (2) will not be given.
