Rule 22
In Confession

(1) Students who have been selected for the scholarship and are going to study or train at the graduate, post-graduate and above levels must make a confession to the Commission in the format as per Schedule-6 before going to study or training.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), the relevant educational institution shall submit the details of the results obtained in the examination to the Commission annually, whether the student studies on scholarship or not.
(3) The educational institution shall provide the details as per sub-rule (2) to the Commission within seven days of the completion of the studies of the students studying on the scholarship.
(4) Before the commencement of this regulation, if any candidate has made a confession with the Ministry of the Government of Nepal dealing with education related matters or any university or institution, such confession shall remain valid for the period mentioned in the confession.
(5) When a person has been nominated for a scholarship and is studying and serving according to the acknowledgment letter, he can be a candidate in the examination conducted by the Public Service Commission or any other government organization after completing the service period of more than one year according to the acknowledgment letter. In order to participate in the integrated entrance examination to be taken for studies at the post-graduate level and above, the period according to subsection (1) of section 38 of the Act must have been paid.
(6) If the candidate as per sub-rule (5) passes such examination and is reinstated in government service, the period of service rendered in such service shall be added to the service as per the acknowledgment.
