Rule 32
Kiriya holiday

(1) If a police officer has to live in Kiriya according to his clan religion, or if his father, mother, father-in-law, son, daughter or mother-in-law dies, or in the case of a male police officer, if his wife dies, he will get fifteen days of Kiriya leave. In the case of a female police officer, if her husband has to stay in Kiriya, she will be given Kiriya leave for the same number of days.
(2) Police personnel will receive full pay, allowances and rations while on holiday leave.
(3) A police officer who takes leave according to sub-rule (1) shall submit the death registration certificate of the deceased person and the proof of relationship with the deceased person within fifteen days of appearing in the office.
(4) In accordance with sub-rule (3), the period of such leave of the police employee who does not submit the certificate shall be deducted from the other leave he is entitled to.
